Position:

Recruitment and Admissions Assistant

 

 

Reporting to:

Recruitment and Admissions Manager

 

 

Position Purpose:

To provide administrative, logistical and recruitment events support to the Recruitment and Admissions team.

 

Key Result Areas:

 

  1. Recruitment
  • Organise travel for Recruitment staff
  • Assist in maintaining the CRM database
  • Make up information packs for enquiries, mail out information packs and answer queries from prospective students
  • Send collateral to recruitment event venues
  • Send collateral to recruitment staff on the road
  • Answer queries from prospective students
  • Provide tours of the College to prospective students
  • Assist with prospective student interviews
  • Liaise with recruitment event venues including career advisors
  • Follow up with all attendees and enter into CRM, follow up with the venue e.g. chiropractic practice, University, College.
  • Make outgoing calls and/or e-mail contact with prospective students to maintain the relationship including telemarketing to potential students from leads acquired at recruitment events
  • Present to attendees at Career Talks and Career Fairs

 

  1. Admissions
  • Process completed applications
  • Follow-up applicant documentation including; academic transcripts, insurance, visas, pre-requisites
  • Coordinate interviews
  • Assist with financial aid process, both StudyLink and international support programmes
  • Filing
  • Assist with Open Day and other Admissions events; including scheduling events and prospective students, set up and room prep, ordering refreshments et

  • Attend College assemblies, graduation, Lyceum and other College events as required from time to time.

New Zealand College of Chiropractic Announces Dr Ash Pritchard as Chairman

The New Zealand College of Chiropractic (NZCC) is delighted to formally announce the appointment of Dr Ash Pritchard as Chairman of the New Zealand Chiropractic Education Trust Board.

Australian-born Chiropractor Dr Pritchard is an NZCC graduate and co-owner of a thriving Auckland practice. He replaces Dr Phil McMaster, who recently stepped into the role of NZCC President after 10 years as its Chairman.

Dr Pritchard, who joined the Board in 2003, is driven by his passion for the chiropractic profession and is excited about the future direction of the College.

“Without a doubt, the New Zealand College of Chiropractic is in a transformational period. With Dr Phil McMaster at the helm, revitalised strategic goals that support the achievement of the College’s vision and mission, and a strong and committed team, we are confident of reaching our goal to be the best provider of chiropractic education in the world,” says Dr Pritchard.

“We have no desire to be the biggest. However we do have a very strong desire and commitment to be the best, and to graduate the best.

“The mission of the College is simply to graduate chiropractors committed to the highest standards of professional excellence in the philosophy, science and art of chiropractic,” he says.

During a challenging time for the profession, Dr Pritchard and the Board believe that there is now, more than ever, a need for graduates who have the skills, knowledge and values to be leaders in the profession.

“Over the next few years, under the leadership of Dr McMaster, our key priority is to further enhance our education model, so that we continue to deliver excellence in a sustainable and vitalistic way.
